Work!

My resume in HTML or Microsoft Word format. This resume is current as of April, 2008.

Here is a list of places I've worked, from most recent to least recent.

Getronics closed up shop in Indianapolis, leaving some customers without consultants, and leaving me without an employer. Eric Brooks (my boss at Getronics) and I responded to the situation by starting a new company, Dimension11, and courting those customers who were caught by surprise when Getronics closed down. Dimension11 has been in business for several months now, and is going great. We specialize in the development of e-commerce web sites using such tools as Internet Information Server, Microsoft Commerce Server, and WebSphere. We also have extensive experience in the desktop development area for both Windows and Linux.

Until May 2001 I worked at Getronics, a global e-business consulting company, where I did e-business consulting as an Applications Architect.  The largest project involved creating administrative web pages to manage MallPerks accounts for Simon Property Group.  Unfortunately, Getronics closed its Indianapolis office in May, laying off all employees.

Before Getronics I worked as the Director of Software Development at at Financialware, a company that sells software to banks to help automate certain banking processes and replace the old microfiche system of storing check images with a computerized system.

Before that I worked at Eris Survey Systems, a small health information systems company in Indianapolis. They specialize in statistical analysis and other related health software and services for hospitals, HMO's, and other companies.

SPAN is another interesting company. I did consulting for them in 1995-96. They specialize in electonics design projects, and have designed items such as smart battery chargers, fish sonars, and grain humidity sensors.

My job at SPAN was to design software for an interactive gas pump for a joint project between Chevron and McDonald's, with Wayne Dresser, Inc., a a leading gas pump manufacturer. The pump has a VGA screen. You can touch the screen while you pump your gas, and actually place an order which is delivered right to your car! Our prototype was set up for one year in the Chevron/McDonald's station in Mesquite, Texas. This was a cool project!

I've done consulting for Peine Engineering, a heating and air conditioning company. I set up a network for them, along with a database system that tracks work orders and purchase orders, and allows interactive scheduling of Peine's servicemen.
